Forest Officer (IFoS)
Forest Officers (IFoS) manage forest resources, wildlife and implement conservation policy across India. Entry typically follows a relevant science/engineering degree and selection via the UPSC Indian Forest Service examination after graduation. The role is field-heavy, public-facing and involves administration, resource management and community engagement.
