Materials Scientist

Materials Scientists study the structure, properties and processing of materials (metals, ceramics, polymers, composites and semiconductors) and apply that knowledge to design better products and processes. In India they work in industries (automotive, aerospace, energy, electronics), national labs and academic research, often progressing from B.Tech/B.Sc to M.Tech/M.Sc and PhD.
