Sports Physiotherapist
Sports physiotherapists assess, treat and prevent sports-related injuries and design rehabilitation and conditioning programs for athletes and active populations in India. They work with teams, clubs, hospitals and private clinics and often collaborate with coaches, orthopedic surgeons and sports scientists. Training typically starts with a BPT or B.Sc (Sports Science) followed by specialization (MPT) or sports-focused certifications.
